What is the status?

The device for in vitro diagnosis has been developed and is being used. The valve has been integrated with the Organ-on-Chip (OoC) device and is being tested.

What have you achieved so far?

So far we have done the design, fabrication and validation of the device for in vitro diagnosis. In addition, we have done the design, fabrication and prototyping of the device for OoC application.

Have you changed course at all?

We have developed different designs and prototypes adapted to the defined application.

What do you expect from the final stage of the project?

We expect to obtain good results validating the two devices with the developed integrated control materials. It is going to be the first step for a whole generation of platforms that create active, tubeless and contactless microfluidic chips, effectively changing the currently established paradigm.
